King Kong of Skull Island encompasses both the original King Kong legend and its seamless expansion in the prequel and sequel Kong of Skull Island Universe through fully copyrighted words and pictures. It is the complete King Kong – Skull Island property, exclusively authorized by the estate of the creator of King Kong, Merian C. Cooper.

King Kong begins in 1932 American showman Carl Denham chartered a ship to parts unknown. Guided by an arcane map drawn up by the skipper of a Norwegian barque, Denham journeys to Skull Island, a veritable Lost World.

Cheating death, Carl Denham returns from that voyage with a captive treasure–not gold or jewels, but the island’s barbaric god, a monstrous anthropoid called “King Kong: The Eighth Wonder of the World.” Enthralled by the beauty of Ann Darrow, Kong steals her away and lays waste to Manhattan before finally succumbing in a penultimate battle atop the Empire State Building.

Kong of Skull Island tells the story of how Kong became a King as it unfolds against the fantastic, prehistoric backdrop that is Skull Island. When Denham returns there with Kong’s body, his son follows and is held captive by an enigmatic island elder aptly called Storyteller.

Gradually, the mysteries are revealed behind the ancient race of people that survive on the island’s peninsula, and how they built the great Wall that protects them from the terrifying saurians dwelling beyond it. Monsters that have continued to evolve 65 million years beyond the extinction of the dinosaurs.

The Storyteller’s tale tells the love story of two ancient islanders, Ishara and Kublai, and their quest to escape a terrible fate that threatens both themselves and their people. Ultimately, it will have the power to reach across time and change the destiny of all. If they survive. For at the nexus of every event is the beast-god of Skull Island…King Kong.
